Most photographers start out what is called "second shooting" for another photographer for a while before they start their business.  This just means they are the secondary shooter or maybe the backup shooter in some cases.  Sam and I didn't do this.  We just jumped in and have always shot all of our weddings for ourselves and with each other.  Maybe we should have second shot more or maybe it was good we didn't because I think it helped us find our style more quickly.  Anywho, when my Jacksonville photographer friend Scarlett with Scarlett Lillian Photography asked me to second shoot a wedding with her down in our neck of the woods I was super excited.  It was fun to hang out with Scarlett and to see the wedding day from a different perspective.  Usually I shoot mostly the bride and then the couples portraits but on this day I was covering the groom and then finding secondary angles and ideas while she lead.  I have to say it was quite nice to have the fun of shooting with out all the other stress that comes with the workflow involved before and after a wedding.

Trisha and Hub were a wonderful couple with such wonderful family that surrounded them.  There was so much love and joy in that room and that crowd knew how to party and dance!  The Marco Island Marriot did an excellent job with everything.  I know Marco Island may seem a bit far for those looking for a Naples or Fort Myers Wedding but it is definitely worth a look.  The resort is equisite and perfect for a wedding weekend.  Thanks to Trisha and Hub for being so beautiful on the inside and out and to their family and friends for welcoming me and thank you to Scarlett to trusting me to shoot along side her and for the fun we had before and after the wedding.   {Ashley}

Being that Thomas is a pilot, we thought it was more than appropriate to shoot an engagement session at the Page Field airport. Lisa and Thomas were so much fun to shoot; stay tuned for their wedding pictures!

When I got the call from Hope and Todd that they wanted me to shoot their wedding I was so excited.  I have known Hope since High School and Todd has also become a close family friend. Hope is an amazing make-up artist, and we love to listen to Todd sing with my youngest sister Gracey. They are such a fun and creative couple. I love their engagement photos and we are so excited to shoot their wedding!  And (drumrole please).... it gets better, this is just part 1 of the Engagement-session. Stay tuned!!!!
