{Sunday Picnic}

Unfortunately sometimes Sam and I forget just how long it takes to get two kids AND ourselves ready.  We've had two kids for a whole year so we should be way better at scheduling the whole eating, getting ready, and planning for everything to go wrong deal.  Sunday was one of those days.  We did everything we could to make it to church but as we got into the car we realized that by the time we walked in the doors we would have missed half the service.  Instead, we decided to use that time to thank God for our family by spending time together.  We got some subs (sans bread for me) from Jimmy Johns and headed to the Estero Community Park.  I LOVE my family so much!  Thank you God for blessing me with them.

{Long time no blog}

It's been about a week.... or more.... since I've posted.  We FINALLY moved our office out of the home and into the studio (yea!) and to our surprise we found the internet we had installed a month ago was not working sooooo.... we just got the internet hooked up at the officina (that's Spanish for office) and we are good to go.  Before I catch up on all that has happened in the past week I thought I'd post a quick pic from tonight.

Tonight Jill, our album designer (who also happens to my mommy) and I were honored to attend the open house for Jamie and Jacob catering at the White Orchid at Oasis.  We were so happy to see friends Kelly McWilliams, her interns Michelle and Jackie, and Dale from Connie Duglin linens.  Here's to good food and very fun friends!

{Miami Trip}

Every few months Sam shoots weddings with the wonderful and talented Sharon Eliasi in Miami (including the wedding of baseball pitcher Jose Contreras).  This weekend the girls and I came along while Sam and Sharon shot the wedding at the Ritz Carlton South Beach.  We stayed at the hotel Catalina and spent the day strolling Lincoln Rd., eating at wonderful restaurants, and playing at the beach.  We finished the trip by having brunch with Carlos (another super wonderful photographer) and Alison Baez and there adorable boys.  

Unfortunately the nice camera was with Sam all day and the point and shoot was in the car all of Saturday so I didn't get any good pictures save a few of the hotel as we were leaving.

{Fun at the Playground}

Last week I took the girls to the playground.  They had a great time climbing and digging.  Check out the video.  Olivia was being so cute digging around in the sand and then Isabella kept wiggiling her behind and finally told me "i need to go poop."  At that point the video ends as I grabbed both girls and the camera and made an embarrassingly mad dash accross the playground to the bathroom.
