[Back to the Basiks]

Friday we had a wonderful surprise when Tamra from Back to the Basiks stopped by to introduce herself and drop of some gluten free spices.  Tamra had read on our blog that I can't eat gluten and thought it would be nice to come by and give us some spices to try.  Well, it WAS nice.  SO nice.  Back to the Basiks is a company specializing in spices that are: gluten free, sugar free, additive free, and preservative free.  

I chose the Key West Citrus blend spice since we have been eating more fish.  I tried it on the fish for our fish tacos and the broccoli slaw that garnished the tacos.  It was delicious and flavorful.  Regardless of the face that these spices are gluten free they will now be my number one go to when cooking fish, chicken, and vegetables.  I'm already thinking I need to get some of the other varieties for when I cook beef or italian.  

 

[Major Email Problems]

We have just discovered that our email is going bizerk.  For the past week we have been emailing brides about their schedule and wondering why we haven't heard back only to find out that some of the emails never got sent and others arrived as an empty message.  If you are a client or friend that is expecting an email from us or sent one and hasn't heard back please call us or....try to email.  239-410-6642.  We are so sorry about this and are doing everything we can to fix the problem.  - Sam, Ashley B., and Ashley A.

{Poodle Puppy Quest}

I have a challenge for anyone willing to accept.  My oldest younger sister, Allison is determined to get a Poodle puppy  in May when she moves back home after being in grad school.  It is going to be her reward after 7 years straight of upper education.  Here is what she's looking for:

Miniature (not toy or standard) AKC registered Poodle.

SHe wants it to be 8-12 weeks old in May.

Blonde or apricot coloring.

Female

Bonus: it would also be great if it would come potty trained, never chew shoes, come when called, and make breakfast for her.  (JOKING!)

{Change of Hair Style?}

My funny sister, Allison emailed me with these pictures.  I love the fact that she took so much time finding the hair styles that would the best on me and then photoshopping my bangs out of one of the pictures so I could more realistically see what the hair cut would look like.  What do you think?  Leave a comment and let me know which you like best.
